Parents Committee

Monthly as required, 8pm

Parents meet occasionally at the Scout Hall, Beach Road, Whitehead. The Parents Committee is recently formed and needs assistance in a wide range of areas. If you are a former scout who wants to help out, or a parent with skills in motivation, fund raising or events organising, we'd like to hear from you.

Next Meeting

The next meeting of the Parents' Committee will be on Tuesday 9th September at 8pm. All Scouting parents are welcome to attend and new members are always welcome.

Help Wanted

The Parent's Committee will be looking to elect a new Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary at their next meeting. If you would like to assist in one of these jobs, or simply join the committee to help out, please come along.

Purpose

The Parents Committee was (re)formed on 19th February 2008 with a remit to:

• Maintain and grow the size of the Scout Group
• Raise some additional funds for Scouting equipment
• Have some fun
